How to Combine Biome Spawn Point with Village Spawn Point

Why Combine Them

Biome Spawn Point controls which biome you start in, while Village Spawn Point makes you spawn in or near a village. Used together, you can aim for a village inside a biome you actually want, instead of accepting whatever biome the village happens to sit in.

Install Both Mods

Place both mods in your mods folder and launch the game once so each generates its configuration. Biome Spawn Point writes spawnbiomes.txt; Village Spawn Point has its own config. Close the game before editing either file.

Set Your Biome First

Open spawnbiomes.txt and remove the ! from the biome or biomes you want, then save. This tells the game which biomes are valid for your spawn.

Let Village Spawn Point Place the Village

With both configs active, the game selects a spawn biome from your enabled list, and Village Spawn Point then tries to place you at a village within that context. If a village cannot be found in your chosen biome, results depend on how the two mods interact, so test with a new world.

Troubleshooting

If you spawn in the right biome but no village, widen your biome list or check the Village Spawn Point config. Always generate a fresh world to see the combined effect.
