Removing an Unwanted Biome From Your World

Choose the Replacement Target

Decide which biome you want gone and which biome should take its place. You are not deleting the biome from the game, only redirecting where it would have generated. Pick a replacement that fits the climate or theme you want.

Add the Rule

Edit biome-replacer.properties in your config folder. Add a line reading unwanted_biome > replacement_biome, using full namespaced IDs on both sides. If you want to eliminate several biomes, add one line per biome. Keep each rule on its own line and avoid extra spaces around the > unless you confirm the parser tolerates them.

Restart and Explore

Restart the server so the config is read. Only new chunks are affected, so the unwanted biome will still exist in terrain you already loaded. To see a clean result, generate new terrain by exploring beyond your current borders or starting a fresh world with the same config.

Watch for Side Effects

Because the mod does not touch other terrain features, structures and terrain shape tied to the original biome may behave unexpectedly. Test in a copy of your world first if the biome is important to your build or farm setup.
