Track and Find Undiscovered Mobs in Your World

Opening the Discovery Log

Hold the Biology Dictionary book and right-click (or press the hotkey) to open it. Look at empty air or a normal block to access the main home screen. You'll see a list of all mobs organized by category, with silhouettes showing which creatures you haven't encountered yet.

Locating Specific Mobs

Once you identify a mob you haven't discovered, look directly at one in the world and open the book to view its detail screen. This registers it in your encyclopedia. The mod will also highlight nearby mobs of the same type, making it easier to spot them in dense areas like jungles or caves.

Efficient Searching

Use the habitat information displayed on each mob's detail page to know where to search. The encyclopedia shows which biomes and conditions each creature prefers, so you can navigate directly to the right locations rather than exploring randomly. Check your progress regularly by returning to the main screen to see how many mobs remain undiscovered.
