Stack Tools and Weapons in Your Inventory

By default, Bigger Stack Size Mod only allows regular items to stack to 64. To enable stacking for tools and weapons like pickaxes, swords, and axes, you need to change the stack mode.

Change Stack Mode

Open your chat and run:

scoreboard players set @s stack_mode config.biggerstacksize 2

`

This sets the mode to 2, which allows both items AND tools to stack up to 64 in a single slot.

Verify It Works

Once the command executes, try combining two identical tools in your inventory. They should now merge into a single stack. If they don't stack immediately, drop them on the ground and pick them up again—this forces the mod to recalculate their stack status.

Stack Mode Reference

• Mode 0: Only regular items stack (default)
• Mode 1: Only tools stack
• Mode 2: Both items and tools stack
• Mode 3: Reset everything to default behavior
