Verify the Mod is Working Correctly

Check Your Air Meter in Normal Dimensions

The Beyond Oxygen Fix Mod should be transparent during normal gameplay. To confirm it's active and working:

1. Enter the Overworld, Nether, or End — dimensions where you normally breathe without restriction

2. Submerge yourself underwater and watch your air bubble meter

3. Verify the meter drains slowly as it does in vanilla Minecraft

4. Use a Water Breathing potion — your air should stop draining entirely while the effect is active

5. Equip a helmet with Respiration — you should gain extra time underwater before drowning

Test in Space Dimensions

If your modpack includes space dimensions from the Beyond Oxygen mod:

1. Travel to a space dimension where the atmosphere is unbreathable

2. Confirm your air drains when exposed to the void or space environment

3. Use Water Breathing or Respiration — these should still protect you in space as intended

If air drains normally in the Overworld and only in actual space dimensions, the patch is working correctly. If you experience air loss while walking on land in normal dimensions, the mod may not be loaded or there's a conflict with another mod.
