How do I know if the mod is actually installed and working?
Load a world and swim underwater in a normal dimension like the Overworld—your air bar should stay full or drain very slowly. If air drains rapidly in regular water, the mod isn't loaded correctly. You can also travel to a space dimension from Beyond Oxygen; your air should drain normally there.
Why is my air still draining in the Overworld even with this mod?
The Beyond Oxygen Fix Mod only patches the breathing bug; it doesn't add water breathing to normal dimensions. You still need Water Breathing potions, Respiration enchantments, or Conduit Power to breathe underwater in the Overworld. Make sure you're not in a space dimension, where air drain is intentional.
Do Water Breathing potions work now or do I still need other items?
Water Breathing potions now work correctly and will keep your air bar full while underwater. However, the mod doesn't change how potions work in normal Minecraft—they only affect water breathing, not other effects. You can use potions alone or combine them with Respiration enchantments for extra safety.
What's the difference between Respiration and Water Breathing potions?
Respiration enchantment on a helmet slowly restores your air while underwater, letting you stay submerged longer without potions. Water Breathing potions completely refill your air bar and keep it full for their duration. Both work together now, so wearing a Respiration helmet while drinking a potion gives you maximum underwater time.
Does Conduit Power work with this mod?
Yes, Conduit Power now works correctly and will restore your air supply when you're in range of an active conduit. The mod fixes the code so conduits function as intended instead of being blocked by the original breathing bug.
Will this mod work with other breathing-related mods?
The Beyond Oxygen Fix Mod is designed to restore vanilla and mod breathing items to normal function, so most mods that add breathing mechanics should work alongside it. If you experience conflicts, check that no other mod is also trying to patch Beyond Oxygen's air drain system.
