Restore Water Breathing Potion Effectiveness

Why Your Potion Stopped Working

The Beyond Oxygen bug caused Water Breathing potions to be ignored, even though you drank them successfully. The fix restores their intended function.

Use Water Breathing Correctly

1. Brew or obtain a Water Breathing potion through normal crafting or loot

2. Drink the potion before or while underwater

3. Submerge yourself — your air meter should freeze and stop draining

4.

5. Combine with Respiration enchantment for even longer underwater survival

Troubleshooting

If your air still drains while Water Breathing is active:

• Confirm you're in a breathable dimension (Overworld, Nether, End)
• Check that the potion effect icon appears in your HUD
• Verify no other mods are overriding the potion behavior
• Ensure the Beyond Oxygen Fix Mod loads *after* the Beyond Oxygen mod in your mod list
