How Respiration Works After the Fix

The Respiration enchantment on helmets now functions as intended, giving you bonus air time underwater instead of being negated by the Beyond Oxygen bug.

Equip and Use Respiration

1. Obtain a helmet enchanted with Respiration (any level I–III)

2. Equip the helmet in your head armor slot

3. Submerge underwater — your air meter will drain more slowly than without the enchantment

4. Higher enchantment levels grant longer air duration — level III provides the most benefit

5. Combine with Water Breathing potions for maximum underwater time

Stacking Protections

For optimal survival underwater:

• Wear a Respiration III helmet as your primary defense
• Drink Water Breathing potions before long underwater expeditions
• Use Conduit Power from underwater conduits if available in your world
• These effects stack, allowing you to stay submerged indefinitely

Without the fix, Respiration would have been completely ignored. Now it works as a reliable tool for underwater exploration and building.
