Troubleshoot Hotbar Not Displaying Correctly

Common Display Issues

If your hotbar appears broken, misaligned, or doesn't show the BetterHotbar+ styling, several factors could be responsible.

Fixing Display Problems

1. Check resource pack position: Ensure BetterHotbar+ is in your Active packs list (see Customize Hotbar guide)

2. Verify load order: Other resource packs may be overriding it—move BetterHotbar+ higher in the active list

3. Reload the pack: Disable BetterHotbar+, close Minecraft completely, reopen it, and re-enable the pack

4. Check for conflicts: Disable other resource packs one at a time to identify conflicts

5. Verify installation: Ensure the resource pack folder is complete and not corrupted

GUI Scale Considerations

Your hotbar appearance also depends on your GUI Scale setting in Options > Video Settings. If the hotbar looks stretched or compressed, adjust the GUI Scale slider and observe changes in real-time.

Still Not Working?

If issues persist after these steps, try removing BetterHotbar+ entirely and reinstalling it fresh. Ensure you're using the correct theme version (Dark or Light) for your preference.
