BetterHotbar+ Resource Pack FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I switch between the Dark and Light hotbar themes?
Open your Resource Packs menu in Settings, find BetterHotbar+ in your active packs, and look for the pack options or settings button. Select your preferred theme (Dark or Light) from the available variants.
Will BetterHotbar+ work with my other texture packs?
BetterHotbar+ is designed to work alongside other resource packs by only modifying the hotbar elements. Place it above or below other packs in your resource pack list depending on which textures you want to prioritize, then test to see which order looks best.
The hotbar looks stretched or cut off. What's wrong?
Check that your GUI scale setting in Video Settings isn't set too high or too low, as this can cause display issues. If the problem persists, try moving BetterHotbar+ higher or lower in your resource pack load order.
Can I use BetterHotbar+ with mods that change the hotbar, like inventory mods?
BetterHotbar+ may conflict with mods that heavily modify the hotbar interface. Test compatibility by enabling both and checking if the hotbar displays correctly; if not, you may need to choose one or the other.
How do I go back to the vanilla hotbar if I don't like the changes?
Disable BetterHotbar+ by unchecking it in your Resource Packs menu, or move it to the inactive packs list. Your hotbar will immediately return to vanilla appearance.
Does BetterHotbar+ affect my performance or FPS?
No, BetterHotbar+ is a lightweight resource pack that only changes textures and should have no measurable impact on performance.
Why does my hotbar look different in multiplayer than in single-player?
Some servers may have their own resource packs that override yours. Check if the server is forcing a resource pack in the connection screen, or ask the server administrator about their pack settings.
Can I customize the colors or design further beyond Dark and Light?
BetterHotbar+ provides Dark and Light as preset themes. To customize beyond these options, you would need to edit the resource pack files directly using a PNG editor and texture pack tools.
The hotbar theme doesn't match my selected version. How do I fix this?
Restart Minecraft completely after changing themes, as resource pack changes sometimes require a full reload. If it still doesn't work, try removing and re-adding BetterHotbar+ to your resource packs.
Does BetterHotbar+ work with different Minecraft versions?
Check the mod's download page for which Minecraft versions are supported, as resource packs are version-specific. Using a pack on an unsupported version may cause display glitches or crashes.
