Choosing Your Theme

BetterHotbar+ Resource Pack comes with two distinct visual themes. The choice between them affects how your hotbar appears throughout your gameplay session.

How to Switch Themes

1. Open your resource packs folder in your Minecraft directory

2. Locate the BetterHotbar+ Resource Pack folder

3. Inside, you'll find version options for Dark and Light themes

4. In Minecraft, open Options > Resource Packs

5. Remove the currently active BetterHotbar+ version from the active list

6. Select the alternative theme version and move it to your active packs

7. Confirm the change and return to your world

Visual Differences

The Dark theme provides a sleek, modern appearance with reduced eye strain in low-light environments. The Light theme offers a bright, clean aesthetic that pairs well with lighter texture packs and daytime gameplay.

Both themes maintain the vanilla Minecraft hotbar layout and functionality—only the visual styling changes. Your hotbar will update immediately upon loading into your world, and you can switch between themes at any time without affecting your inventory or game progress.
