Layering Packs Correctly

Better Vanilla Animals can work alongside other packs, but order matters. In Options → Resource Packs, the packs listed higher override those below them.

Best Practices

• Place Better Vanilla Animals above texture packs: If you use a custom texture pack for blocks or items, put Better Vanilla Animals above it so the animal models take priority.
• Keep it below UI/cosmetic packs: Packs that only change menus or HUD can sit above it without conflict.
• Test after reordering: After changing pack order, press F3 + T to reload. Spawn an animal to confirm the enhanced model appears.

Compatibility Notes

This pack modifies only farm animals (cows, pigs, sheep, chickens) and keeps the default pixel aesthetic. It won't conflict with packs that change other mobs, dimensions, or block textures. However, if another pack also modifies these four animals, you'll see only the topmost pack's version.
