Smelt Deepslate Block Variants
Deepslate Smelting Basics
Deepslate blocks, slabs, and stairs can all be smelted, following the same rules as their stone counterparts. This allows you to process deepslate variants found in deep caves without needing full blocks.
Smelting Deepslate Slabs
1. Collect deepslate slabs from deep cave mining
2. Place them in a furnace with fuel
3. Smelt to create deepslate block variants (or further process if applicable)
Smelting Deepslate Stairs
1. Gather deepslate stairs
2. Smelt in a furnace to convert them
3. Collect the results
Why Use This
Deepslate is abundant in deep mining operations, but you often collect slabs and stairs as byproducts. Rather than discarding them, smelt them for usable blocks. This reduces waste and maximizes your mining efficiency.
Tip
Combine deepslate slab and stair smelting with other stone variants in batch operations to save fuel and time.
