Smelt Cobblestone Slabs into Stone Slabs

Basic Smelting Process

Cobblestone slabs can now be smelted just like full cobblestone blocks. Place your cobblestone slabs in a furnace with any fuel source to convert them into stone slabs.

Steps

1. Open your furnace

2. Place cobblestone slabs in the top input slot

3. Add fuel (coal, wood, etc.) to the fuel slot

4.

5. Collect your stone slabs from the output slot

Why This Matters

Without this mod, slab variants couldn't be smelted at all. Now you can process partial blocks without needing to convert them back to full blocks first. This is especially useful when you have leftover slabs from construction projects and want to upgrade them to their stone equivalents.

Efficiency Tip

Smelt multiple stacks at once by filling the input slot completely. Each slab consumes the same fuel as a full block would, making batch processing worthwhile for large quantities.
