Process Sandstone Slabs and Stairs

Sandstone Variant Smelting

Sandstone slabs and stairs can be smelted just like cobblestone and stone variants. This mod extends the smelting mechanic to all sandstone block types.

Smelting Sandstone Slabs

1. Collect sandstone slabs from desert biomes or crafting

2. Place in a furnace with fuel

3. Smelt to convert them into processed sandstone variants

Smelting Sandstone Stairs

1. Gather sandstone stairs

2. Add to furnace with fuel

3.

Practical Uses

Sandstone is common in desert biomes, and you'll often have leftover slabs and stairs from terraforming or construction. Smelting allows you to consolidate these partial blocks into more useful forms rather than leaving them unused.

Building Tip

If you're creating large sandstone structures, smelt your slab and stair byproducts to maintain a consistent material palette throughout your build. This keeps your creative workflow smooth without material waste.
