Search for Recipes with Typos in the Recipe Book

Accessing Recipe Book Search

Open your Recipe Book (default key varies by your controls, typically E then the recipe tab). The search bar at the top of the Recipe Book window is where fuzzy search applies.

How Fuzzy Matching Works Here

Type a recipe name or ingredient with intentional mistakes. For example, search "crfting tabel" instead of "crafting table"—the mod will still show you the correct recipe. You can also search by partial ingredient names.

Finding Modded Recipes

Better Search Mod reads recipes added by other mods in your world. If you have mods that add custom crafting recipes, searching with typos or incomplete names will still surface them alongside vanilla recipes.

The Recipe Book's appearance stays unchanged; only the search logic improves. This makes recipe discovery faster when you're not sure of exact spelling or remember only part of an item's name.
