Teleport Another Player to a Random Location

Using Player Teleport Commands

Staff members can send other players to random locations using the player teleport command. This is useful for gameplay events, punishment systems, or guided exploration.

How to Teleport a Player

1. Ensure you have the rtp.others permission node.

2. Type /rtp player <playername> to send them to a random spot in the current world.

3. To teleport them to a specific world, use /rtp player <playername> <world> (e.g., /rtp player Steve nether).

4. The target player will experience the warmup countdown if enabled.

5. They'll arrive at a safe location once the warmup finishes.

Permissions & Behavior

  • Only players with rtp.others can execute this command.
  • The teleported player still experiences cooldowns and warmups unless they have bypass permissions.
  • The destination is always randomly selected—you cannot choose a specific biome for another player using this command.
  • Use /rtp biome [biome] followed by player teleport for more control over destination type.
