Understanding Quick-Use

The action bar system lets you activate items from your hotbar without switching away from your current tool. This is essential for PvP—heal with a potion while holding a sword, or throw a pearl while aiming.

Setting Up Keybinds

Open your keybind settings and assign keys to Quick-Use slots. Common setups:

• Key 1: Healing potion
• Key 2: Ender pearl or gap apple
• Key 3: Bow or crossbow
• Key 4: Utility item (water bucket, blocks)

Each keybind corresponds to a hotbar slot. Place your chosen items in those slots.

Using Quick-Use in Combat

Press your assigned key to use the item instantly. The item consumes and returns to your hotbar—you stay holding your weapon. This creates fluid combat without the delay of manual switching.

Pro tip: Bind frequently-used consumables to keys close to your movement keys (WASD) for quick access during intense fights.
