Combine Better Nautilus Armor with Other Resource Packs

Layering Strategy

You can use Better Nautilus Armor alongside other resource packs, but pack order matters. The Better Nautilus Armor pack should load after (below) packs that modify general textures, so its specific nautilus models take priority.

Setup Process

1. Open Resource Packs menu in Options

2. Arrange pack order: Place Better Nautilus Armor lower in the list than general texture packs (like PBR or lighting overhauls)

3. Keep utility packs separate: Packs that add UI elements, fonts, or particle effects won't conflict—place them anywhere

4. Test compatibility: Equip nautilus armor and verify the custom shell models still display with your other packs active

Compatibility Notes

Better Nautilus Armor works best when other packs don't also modify nautilus armor textures. If you're using a comprehensive texture overhaul, check whether it includes custom nautilus designs—using both may cause visual conflicts or one pack may override the other.

The pack's reliance on Entity Model Features and Entity Texture Features means it won't interfere with packs that modify blocks, items, or standard armor sets.
