How to turn a lily pad back to normal after building on it

If you placed a block on a lily pad and want the plain vanilla lily pad back, you only need to remove what you placed.

Steps

1. Find the block you placed on the lily pad. The lily pad itself is now a waterlogged block underneath it.

2. Break the block above it with a suitable tool, or remove it in any other way (for example, a piston pushing it away).

3. Once the space above is empty, the waterlogged lily pad turns back to its vanilla state and floats on the water again.

Things to know

  • The change back is triggered by the block above being removed. You don't need to click the pad or do anything else.
  • This only works while there is a water block below. The mod's behaviour relies on that water.
  • If you stack several blocks on the pad, the lily pad only reverts once the block directly above it is gone.

This makes lily pad builds easy to undo. Pond decorations can come down without leaving odd waterlogged blocks behind.
