How to place a block on top of a lily pad

With this mod, a lily pad is no longer a dead end for building. You can put a block straight onto it.

Steps

1. Find a lily pad floating on a water block. The water must be directly beneath it.

2. Hold a block, or any other item that can be placed, in your hand.

3. Right-click the lily pad.

4. The lily pad moves down into the water block below and becomes a waterlogged block. Your item is placed in the space where the lily pad was.

What to expect

• You don't need to break the lily pad first. A single click does the whole swap.
• The lily pad is not lost. It stays in the water below your block in its waterlogged form.
• This works with any item that can normally be placed, not only full blocks.
• In vanilla, right-clicking a lily pad with a block does nothing useful. If that is what you see, check that the mod is loaded and that there is real water under the pad.

This is the basic move for every other lily pad trick: build on the pad, then keep building from the block you placed.
