Set Up a Gold Recycling Station

Choosing Your Furnace

Both regular furnaces and blast furnaces work for recycling. The blast furnace smelts twice as fast, making it better for high-volume recycling. A regular furnace uses less fuel per item.

Building Your Station

1. Place a furnace or blast furnace in a convenient location

2. Set up a storage system (chests or hoppers) nearby for gold items awaiting recycling

3. Keep fuel (coal, charcoal, or wood) in an adjacent chest

4. Add another storage container for collected ingots and nuggets

5. Optional: Use hoppers to automate item input and output

Workflow Tips

Organize incoming items by type (powered rails, clocks, blocks) so you know what yield to expect. If automating with hoppers, feed items into the top of the furnace and collect outputs from the front. This setup lets you recycle continuously without manual intervention, turning your gold waste into usable resources.
