Items that require four or more gold ingots to craft will return a single gold ingot when recycled. This makes recycling valuable for recovering investment from complex gold tools and decorative blocks.

How to Recycle

1. Gather your unwanted gold items (powered rails, gold blocks, or other multi-ingot recipes)

2. Place them in a furnace or blast furnace

3. Add fuel (coal, wood, etc.)

5. Collect your gold ingot from the output slot

The blast furnace works twice as fast, making it ideal if you're recycling large quantities. Each eligible item produces exactly one ingot regardless of how many ingots were originally used to craft it, so this is most efficient for high-cost items.
