Items That Produce Nuggets

Gold items requiring fewer than four ingots to craft will yield gold nuggets instead of full ingots. Clocks are a special case—they always recycle into nuggets due to their unique crafting recipe, even though they contain gold.

Recycling Process

1. Collect gold items that use fewer ingots (watches, certain decorative items, or clocks)

2. Open your furnace or blast furnace

3. Place items in the top slot and add fuel

4. Once smelting completes, retrieve your gold nuggets

5. Combine nine nuggets back into an ingot if needed

Nuggets are useful for fine-tuning your gold supply or crafting small-scale gold items without wasting full ingots. Clocks are particularly efficient nugget sources if you have spare clocks lying around.
