Do I need a mod or is this just a resource pack?
This is a resource pack only—no mod installation needed. It works with vanilla Minecraft by changing how plants look and adding 3D models for flowers and vines.
Why aren't my lily pads showing flowers?
Lily pad flowers only appear on wild lily pads in swamps and rivers, not on lily pads you place yourself. Make sure the resource pack is enabled in your resource pack list and you're looking at naturally generated lily pads.
How do I get the 3D flowers to show in my hand?
Hold any of the supported flowers (Allium, Azure Bluet, Blue Orchid, Cornflower, Dandelion, Lily of the Valley, Oxeye Daisy, Tulips, or Wither Rose) in your main hand or off-hand, and they'll display as 3D models instead of flat sprites.
Can I change the colors of flowers on lily pads?
The lily pad flowers come in eight preset colors (Light Blue, Magenta, Orange, Pink, Red, White, and others), but you cannot customize individual lily pad flower colors without editing the resource pack files.
Do the vines look different when I place them?
Yes, all vines—whether naturally generated or placed by you—will display with the improved 3D model and detailed texture from this pack.
Will this work with other resource packs?
It depends on load order and what the other pack changes. If another pack also modifies flowers, vines, or lily pads, one will override the other based on which is loaded last.
Do the 3D flowers work in item frames?
Yes, flowers displayed in item frames will show as 3D models, making them great for decorative botanical displays on walls.
Will this affect my FPS or performance?
Resource packs have minimal performance impact compared to mods. The 3D models are handled by your GPU, so you may see a very slight difference depending on your hardware, but most players won't notice any lag.
Do the lily pad flowers affect gameplay or can mobs spawn on them?
No, the flowers are purely visual and don't change any game mechanics—lily pads function exactly as they do in vanilla Minecraft.
