If your farm animals still appear as default Minecraft textures, the resource pack may not be active or properly loaded.

1. Open your resource packs menu in Minecraft settings

2. Confirm the pack is listed in the "Selected" section (not "Available")

3. Check pack order—the Better Farm Animals pack should be positioned above the Default pack in your load order

4. Reload the world after confirming the pack is active; sometimes changes don't apply until you rejoin

If Still Not Working

• Verify compatibility with your Minecraft version—ensure the pack version matches your game version
• Check for conflicts with other resource packs that modify animals
• Try disabling other packs temporarily to isolate the issue
• Restart the game completely rather than just reloading the world

Visual Confirmation

Once active, you should immediately notice custom models and varied textures on all farm animals. If you see only one texture per animal type, the pack still isn't loading correctly.
