Select and Modify Text Efficiently
Click-and-Drag Selection
Click at the start of the text you want to select, hold down the mouse button, and drag to the end. This works across multiple lines in the command display, letting you select large blocks of text or precise sections without using keyboard shortcuts. Release to complete the selection, then type or delete as needed.
Double-Click Word Selection
Double-click any word in your command to select it instantly. This is faster than manually positioning your cursor and dragging, especially when you need to replace individual values or keys. Works for NBT keys, command arguments, and any other text in the field.
Combining Selection with Smart Deletion
Once you've selected text using click-and-drag or double-click, you can delete it normally or use Ctrl+Backspace for word-aware deletion. The improved erasing respects word boundaries, so your command structure stays intact even when removing multiple elements.
For rapid edits, select what you want to change and immediately start typing—your selection will be replaced with the new text.
