Beta Recipes modifies golden apple recipes to use gold blocks instead of gold ingots, making them significantly more expensive and exclusive.

Crafting Golden Apples

1. Gather gold blocks: Mine gold ore and smelt it into ingots, then craft 9 ingots into 1 gold block (standard conversion)

2. Obtain an apple: Find apples from oak trees or craft them if available

3. Arrange on crafting table: Place the apple in the center surrounded by gold blocks in a 3×3 pattern

4. Collect your golden apple

Important Notes

Because gold blocks are required instead of ingots, golden apples become a late-game luxury item. A single golden apple now consumes 9 times more gold than modern recipes. This makes them impractical for casual use and reserves them for critical situations. Plan your gold mining accordingly if you want to craft multiple golden apples.
