Enable Beryl Shaders and Configure Visual Settings
Activating the Shader Pipeline
Beryl Mod works alongside VulkanMod to deliver enhanced visuals. Once installed, the shader pipeline activates automatically when you launch the game with both mods present. You should notice improved lighting, shadows, and color rendering immediately in your world.
Adjusting Shader Quality
Access shader settings through your in-game graphics menu. Look for Beryl or shader-specific options in Video Settings. Here you can adjust:
- Lighting quality – Controls shadow detail and dynamic lighting effects
- Color grading – Fine-tunes overall visual tone and saturation
- Rendering distance – Balance between visual range and performance
If you experience frame rate drops, reduce lighting quality or lower your render distance. The mod is optimized to maintain high FPS, but your hardware and world complexity affect performance.
Testing Your Setup
Load a world and observe caves, water, and sunset lighting. Well-configured shaders show smooth shadows and vibrant colors without stuttering. If visuals look flat or performance suffers, revisit your settings and find your optimal balance.
