Use Custom Bedrock Skins with HD Textures

Understand Bedrock Skin Pack Format

This mod loads native Bedrock Edition skin packs, which include JSON geometry files and high-resolution texture files. These packs contain custom 3D models and detailed textures that Java Edition doesn't normally support.

Load and Apply Bedrock Skins

Once a Bedrock skin pack is installed and the mod is active, all skins from that pack automatically appear in your skin chooser menu. Open the menu (press K) and select any skin from a Bedrock pack. The mod renders the custom geometry and applies the HD textures in real-time.

See Custom 3D Features

Bedrock skins often include unique 3D elements—custom armor designs, accessories, wings, or altered body proportions—that appear on your character model. These are rendered using the native Bedrock geometry system, so they display correctly with smooth animations and proper texturing.

The high-definition textures in these packs are much more detailed than standard Java skins, giving your character a polished, console-quality appearance both in-game and on the menu paper doll.
