How Bottle Shapes Help You Recognize Effects

Beautiful Potions Mod assigns a unique bottle shape and color to every potion effect in your game. Instead of squinting at potion names in your inventory, you can now identify what each bottle does at a glance.

Finding Your Potions

1. Open your inventory and look at any potions you're carrying or storing in chests.

2. Notice the bottle shape — each effect has its own distinctive silhouette. Healing potions look different from speed potions, which look different from strength potions.

3. Check the color — the mod brightens and clarifies potion colors so they're easier to distinguish in dim lighting or when you're moving quickly.

4. Hover over a potion to see its name and effect duration if you need confirmation.

Modded Potions

If you're using magic mods like Ars Nouveau, Alex's Mobs, or Apotheosis, their custom potions also receive unique bottle designs. This means you can tell a mod potion apart from vanilla potions instantly.

The visual system works on multiplayer servers too, so other players will see the same bottle designs you do.
