Bear Edit Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I get the Build Tool to start using this mod?
Execute the command /function be:give in creative mode, and the Build Tool will be added to your inventory. You need this tool to perform any block editing actions.
What does pressing F do?
Pressing F cycles through the different editing modes available in the Build Tool, such as fill, line, remove, and others. Check your current mode by looking at the tool's tooltip or item name.
Why do I need to put a block in my offhand?
Some modes require you to specify which block to place or work with. Holding the block in your offhand tells the mod which block type to use for your action.
How do I select an area to edit?
Right click on a block to set your first position, then right click on another block to set your second position. These two points define the area or line for your action.
What happens after I select both positions?
Right click again to execute the action. The mod will perform the selected mode (fill, line, remove, etc.) between your two selected positions.
Can I use this mod in survival mode?
No, the Bear Edit Mod only works in creative mode. You must be in creative mode to use the Build Tool and perform bulk block actions.
What if I select the wrong position by mistake?
Simply right click on a different block to update that position before executing the action. You can change either position as many times as needed before confirming.
Does this mod work with custom blocks or modded blocks?
The mod works with any block you can hold in your offhand, including blocks from other mods, as long as they're valid block types in your world.
Will using this mod cause lag or performance issues?
Large bulk operations may cause temporary lag depending on your computer and world size, but the mod is designed to handle significant edits efficiently. Start with smaller areas if you experience performance problems.
Can I undo an action if I make a mistake?
The mod does not have a built-in undo feature, so use Minecraft's native undo (Ctrl+Z in some versions) or manually revert changes. Always double-check your positions and mode before executing an action.
