Fix a crash that mentions BCLib when launching BetterEnd or BetterNether

Because BCLib is a base for other mods, a crash report often names it even when it is not the real cause. This guide helps you narrow it down.

Read the error first

1. Note whether the game crashed at launch, on world load, or in the middle of play.

2. Open the crash report or the latest log in your game folder and look near the top for lines naming a mod.

3. Check for "missing dependency" or "requires" messages. They usually mean a needed mod is absent or the wrong type.

Common fixes

• Wrong loader: BCLib on NeoForge only works with NeoForge. Make sure your BetterX mods are NeoForge builds too.
• Missing library: If the log says another mod is required, add that mod to the mods folder.
• Mismatched builds: Keep BCLib and your BetterX mods on matching releases. Do not mix old and new files.
• Duplicates: Remove any second copy of BCLib or of a BetterX mod.
• Conflicts: Remove other world-generation mods one at a time to see whether the crash stops.

If you ask for help online, post the full log and list the mods you have installed. That is far more useful than a screenshot of the error screen.
