Check that BCLib loaded correctly on NeoForge

BCLib has no items or blocks of its own. It runs in the background so other mods can work, so the first job is confirming it actually loaded.

Check from the title screen

1. Launch the game with the NeoForge profile. BCLib does not load on Fabric or older Forge.

2. On the title screen, click Mods.

3. Look for BCLib in the list. If it shows up, the loader accepted it.

4. Look for any BetterX mods you installed (for example BetterEnd or BetterNether) in the same list.

If it is missing

  • Open your mods folder and make sure the BCLib file is there. It should be a single file, with no duplicate copies of the same mod.
  • Check that the file is the NeoForge build and not a Fabric one.
  • Check the loader shown in your launcher. Forge and NeoForge profiles are easy to mix up.
  • If the game crashes or shows an error screen on startup, read the message. NeoForge normally names the mod that is missing or incompatible.

If BCLib appears in the list and the game reaches the title screen, it is working. You will not see any extra in-game content from BCLib itself.
