Deploy Mobs and Creatures from Your Crossbow

Load Spawn Eggs or Mob Buckets

Place a spawn egg (any mob type) or a mob bucket in your offhand. Load it into your Omni crossbow and aim at your desired spawn location.

Firing and Deployment

Right-click to launch the egg or bucket as a projectile. On impact, the mob spawns at that location—whether it's a pig, creeper, axolotl, or any other creature. This works across long distances without needing to be close to the spawn point.

Strategic Applications

  • Deploy animals for farms or breeding from a distance
  • Spawn hostile mobs as traps or for mob grinders
  • Place creatures in hard-to-reach areas like high platforms or islands
  • Launch minecarts or boats to set up transportation networks remotely

Notes

Spawn eggs and buckets are consumed on use, so stock up if you plan multiple deployments. This mechanic is invaluable for setting up automated farms or populating areas without manual travel.
