Using AzureLib Armor Without Installing the Full AzureLib

Understanding the Split

AzureLib Armor is a stripped-down version of AzureLib. It was created so that mods needing only GeoArmor and GeoItem functionality — animated armor and animated items — can depend on a small library instead of the entire framework. This means you can run armor-animation mods without pulling in the full AzureLib.

When to Use Which

If the only thing you need is animated armor or animated held/worn items, AzureLib Armor is sufficient. Install it and any mods that declare it as a dependency will work.

If you also run mods that need the broader AzureLib features — animated entities, blocks, or other Geo-rendered content beyond armor and items — you will need the full AzureLib as well. The two function independently, so having both installed is fine and they will not fight each other.

Practical Setup

Drop AzureLib Armor into your mods folder. Do not add the full AzureLib unless another mod explicitly requires it. Keeping the install minimal reduces load time and avoids version conflicts between the two libraries. If you later add a mod that needs the full framework, install it then — you do not need to plan ahead, since the armor library keeps working on its own.
