Speeding Up Skull Removal Even More With Enchantments and Better Axes

Once skulls are axe-mineable, the normal ways of improving axe speed also help with skulls.

Ways to mine skulls faster

1. Use a higher-tier axe. Axe materials differ in mining speed, and a better material means faster breaking. A wooden axe still gets the bonus, but a stronger one is quicker.

2. Add Efficiency. Enchant your axe with Efficiency at an enchanting table or anvil. Higher levels give more speed.

3. Use Haste. A Haste effect from a beacon or potion speeds up all block breaking, including skulls.

4. Stand on solid ground. Mining while falling or while in water slows you down, so break skulls from the ground.

When it matters

Skulls break quickly anyway, so the difference is most visible when clearing many of them at once, for example when taking down a trophy room or dismantling a wither structure. A single enchanted axe handles both that job and your usual wood chopping.

The mod changes only mining speed. Drops stay the same.
