Avaritia Furnace FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I get started with this mod?
You need to build a
Fuel Compressor first, then compress fuel (coal, coal blocks, or lava) into Infinity Fuel. Once you have enough Infinity Fuel, you can craft the Avaritia Furnace, which is the mod's main block.
Fuel Compressor first, then compress fuel (coal, coal blocks, or lava) into Infinity Fuel. Once you have enough Infinity Fuel, you can craft the Avaritia Furnace, which is the mod's main block. How much fuel do I need to make one Infinity Fuel?
You need fuel with a total burn value of 1 billion ticks. Lava is more efficient than coal—1000mb of lava equals 16,000 burn ticks, roughly equivalent to one coal block.
What's the difference between the furnace modes?
Mode 1 smelts one item per tick (fastest), Mode 2 takes 4 ticks per item, and higher modes take progressively longer. Slower modes allow the furnace to duplicate items, but duplication time increases dramatically with each mode.
Can I duplicate items infinitely?
Theoretically yes, but the smelting time becomes impractical—the mod notes that duplication can take longer than a human lifetime depending on your mode settings.
What are Compressed Furnaces for?
Compressed, Double Compressed, and Triple Compressed Furnaces are only crafting ingredients used to build the Avaritia Furnace itself. You craft them in sequence using Iron, Gold, or Diamond blocks in the previous furnace level.
Do I need the original Avaritia Mod installed?
No, Avaritia Furnace Mod is standalone and does not require the original Avaritia Mod to work.
Can I use lava instead of coal in the
Fuel Compressor?
Yes, you can insert lava directly into the
Fuel Compressor. It's actually more efficient than coal since 1000mb of lava equals the burn time of one coal block.
Fuel Compressor. It's actually more efficient than coal since 1000mb of lava equals the burn time of one coal block. How do I choose between speed and duplication?
Use Mode 1 if you want fast smelting without duplication, or switch to higher modes if you want item duplication but can accept much longer processing times.
Does the Avaritia Furnace require fuel to run?
No, the Avaritia Furnace consumes no fuel once it's crafted. The Infinity Fuel is only needed during the crafting recipe.
What should I smelt first to test the mod?
Start with common items like ore or raw materials to understand how the modes work, then experiment with duplication on items you have in abundance before committing to rare materials.
