Build a Minecart Loading and Unloading Station

Setting Up Loaders

Place a Minecart Loader adjacent to a storage container filled with items you want to transport. Position a minecart on the rails in front of the Loader. Power the Loader with redstone, and it will transfer items from the container into the minecart's inventory.

Unloading at Your Destination

Place a Minecart Unloader on rails at your destination, with a storage container behind it. When a loaded minecart stops in front of the Unloader and receives a redstone signal, items transfer from the cart into the container.

Automating the Process

Use Transmitters and Receivers to trigger Loaders and Unloaders remotely, or place Tickers nearby to pulse them at regular intervals. Combine with Distributors at your unloading station to sort items into multiple chests as they arrive from the minecart.
