Check Your Mod Update Status in the Console

Finding the Update Report

When you launch Minecraft with Automatic-potato Mod installed, the mod automatically scans your loaded mods for newer versions. All results print directly to your console log during startup—no menus or buttons needed.

Reading the Console Output

1. Open your console log (usually visible in your launcher, or check your .minecraft/logs/ folder for latest.log)

2. Look for messages from Automatic-potato during the loading phase

3. The mod will display each installed mod's current version and whether an update is available

4. Update alerts show the new version number and where to find it

What to Expect

You'll see clear status messages for each mod—either "up to date" or "new version available." The mod pulls this information from each mod's homepage links and version metadata, so accuracy depends on mod authors keeping those fields current. Check your console every time you update your mod list to stay informed about available upgrades.
