How to Set Up AutoFish Keybinds and Toggle the Mod In-Game
Assigning the Keybind
Open your Minecraft Controls settings and look for the AutoFish category. Bind a key to the main toggle action. This key turns the automatic fishing behaviour on and off while you are in-game, so pick something you can reach easily without conflicting with movement or inventory keys. Once bound, save your settings and return to the world.
Toggling and Confirming It Works
Hold your fishing rod and cast it into water manually, then press your toggle key. The mod should take over from that point: it watches the bobber, reels in when a bite is detected, and recasts after a short delay. Press the toggle again to stop it and regain manual control. If nothing happens, check that the keybind actually saved and that you are holding a rod with a valid water source in front of you.
Practical Tips
Keep the toggle key separate from your sneak or attack keys so you do not accidentally disable the mod mid-session. If you play on a server, remember the mod is client-side, so the server sees normal fishing behaviour. Test it once near your base before leaving it running unattended, and confirm the rod is not about to break from durability loss.
