How do I start AutoFish after installing it?

Why isn't AutoFish doing anything when I cast my rod?

Does AutoFish work on vanilla servers or only modded ones?

How do I change how long AutoFish waits before recasting or reeling in?
Open the AutoFish GUI and adjust the recast and reel-in delay sliders to your preferred timing. Longer delays look more human-like, while shorter delays catch fish faster.
What does the item filter do and why doesn't it work in multiplayer?
The item filter lets you choose which catches AutoFish keeps or ignores. It only functions in singleplayer because multiplayer servers don't send the item data the filter needs to make that decision.
Can I get banned for using AutoFish on a server?
Many servers consider automated fishing cheating, so use it at your own risk and check the server's rules first. The mod's configurable delays help it look more natural, but they don't guarantee you won't be caught.
Why does AutoFish keep recasting without catching anything?
Your reel-in delay may be too short, causing it to reel before the fish actually bites. Increase the reel-in delay in the GUI so it waits for the bite before pulling in.
Does AutoFish still work after the 1.16 AFK fish farm nerfs?
Yes, that's exactly what it was made for. It automates the reeling and recasting that the nerf broke, so you can still AFK fish and collect treasure.
Will AutoFish conflict with other mods I have installed?
