How to Stop Dying From Resetting Your Movement Preferences

The practical problem

If you rely on toggle sprint for smooth movement, every death forcing you back to walk speed is a real annoyance, especially in PvP, parkour, or long survival sessions. This mod removes that friction so your preferred movement state is ready the moment you respawn.

What to do

1. Decide which toggles you want on by default: sprint, sneak, or both. Enable each one in game before you start playing.

2. Leave them toggled on. The mod preserves the state at the moment of death, so whatever you had active is what you get back.

3. After respawning, glance at your movement state before charging into danger. If you were sneaking when you died, you will respawn sneaking, which can be dangerous near mobs.

4. Adjust your habits accordingly. If you often die while crouched, consider turning toggle sneak off before risky fights so you respawn standing.

Why this matters

The mod does not add new controls or settings; it simply stops the game from clearing your toggle state on respawn. That means the only thing you need to manage is which toggles you leave on, since those are exactly the states that will carry over.
