Configure which ores drop ingots instead of raw ore

Access the mod configuration

Auto Smelt Mod includes a configuration file that lets you control which ore blocks are affected by the auto-smelting feature. This is useful if you want to keep the vanilla two-step process for certain ores, or if you're using other mods that add custom ores.

Edit your settings

Locate the mod's configuration file in your game directory (typically in the config folder). Open it with a text editor and look for the list of ores that should auto-smelt when mined.

You can:

• Remove ores from auto-smelting by commenting out or deleting their entries
• Add custom ores from other mods by including their ore block names
• Disable the mod entirely for specific dimensions or game modes if your config supports it

Apply changes

Save the configuration file and restart your game or reload the mod for changes to take effect. Test by mining an ore block to confirm it now behaves as configured.

If you're unsure about the exact ore names to use, check the mod's documentation or examine other mods' ore naming conventions—they typically follow the format modname:ore_name.
