Do I need to do anything to enable auto-smelting when I first install the mod?
No, auto-smelting is enabled by default for all ores when you install the mod. Mining ore blocks will immediately drop ingots instead of raw ore without any configuration needed.
Can I turn off auto-smelting for specific ores?
Yes, you can configure which ores auto-smelt in the mod's config file. Open the configuration and disable auto-smelting for any ore types you want to drop raw ore instead.
Do I still get experience points when mining ore with auto-smelting enabled?
Yes, you receive the same experience as you would from mining the ore normally. The mod only changes what item drops; experience rewards remain unchanged.
Will auto-smelting work with ores added by other mods?
Most modded ores are supported, but compatibility depends on how the other mod registers its ores. If a modded ore doesn't auto-smelt, you may need to manually add it to the mod's configuration.
What happens to Fortune enchantment when auto-smelting is active?
Fortune still increases the number of ingots you receive, just as it would increase raw ore drops. The multiplied drops are then auto-smelted into ingots.
Does auto-smelting consume fuel or resources from my inventory?
