Set Up Automatic Reconnection with Custom Intervals

Configure Reconnection Timing

By default, Auto Reconnect Reforged attempts to reconnect at 3, 10, 30, and 60-second intervals. You can customize these timings to suit your playstyle.

1. Locate your mod configuration file (typically in .minecraft/config/ or a mod-specific folder)

2. Open the Auto Reconnect configuration file in a text editor

3. Find the reconnection interval settings

4. Modify the delay values between each reconnection attempt

5. Adjust the total number of reconnection attempts if desired

6. Save the file and restart your game

Apply Your Changes

Once you've saved your configuration, the mod will use your custom intervals the next time an unexpected disconnection occurs. Shorter intervals mean faster reconnection but more frequent connection attempts, while longer intervals reduce server strain but take longer to restore your connection.

Test your settings by intentionally disconnecting to verify the timing works as expected for your network conditions.
