Prevent Reconnection Attempts on Intentional Disconnects

Distinguish Intentional from Unexpected Disconnections

Auto Reconnect Reforged is designed to trigger only on *unexpected* disconnections. When you manually disconnect using the pause menu or quit command, the mod should not attempt to reconnect.

How It Works

The mod monitors your connection status and only activates its reconnection sequence when:

  • The server closes the connection unexpectedly
  • Network errors occur
  • The connection times out

Normal logout actions—using the "Disconnect" button in the pause menu or closing the client normally—will not trigger reconnection attempts.

If Unwanted Reconnection Occurs

If the mod is reconnecting when you intentionally disconnect, check your configuration file to ensure the mod is properly distinguishing between intentional and unintentional disconnections. You may need to adjust sensitivity settings or verify that your server isn't forcibly disconnecting players during normal logout.
