Troubleshoot Why Auto-Mace Isn't Triggering

Check These Basics First

1. Verify you're holding a mace — The mod only activates when a mace is in your main hand, not in your offhand or hotbar. Equip it directly.

2. Confirm you're falling — The mod triggers during descent. Jump from a height, use an elytra, or fall from a block. Standing on the ground won't activate it.

3. Ensure sufficient fall distance — The mod needs enough falling time to detect and swing. Short drops may not trigger the mechanic.

Verify Mod Installation

If the above steps don't help, the mod may not be properly loaded:

  • Check that the mod file is in your mods folder
  • Restart your game client completely
  • Verify you're using a compatible Minecraft version
  • Look for any error messages in your game log

Test in Single-Player

If you're on a server, test the mod in a single-player world first. This isolates whether the issue is mod-related or server-related. If it works in single-player but not on a server, the server may have restrictions on client mods or mace functionality.
