Auto-Mace Client Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

Does Auto-Mace work on servers or only single-player?
Auto-Mace works on any server without requiring a server-side mod, since it runs entirely on your client. The server sees normal mace swings, so it won't flag you as cheating or get you banned.
Why isn't the mod triggering when I hold my mace?
Make sure you're actually falling or diving with an elytra—the mod only swings when you're descending toward a target. Also check that the mace is in your hand (not just in your hotbar) and you're close enough to an entity to hit.
Can I use Auto-Mace with other weapons at the same time?
Yes, the mod automatically ignores all other weapons and only activates when you switch to a mace. You can freely swap between your mace and sword, bow, or any other tool without the mod interfering.
What happens if I'm holding a mace but not trying to attack?
The mod only triggers when you're falling toward a valid target, so simply holding a mace while standing still or walking won't cause unwanted swings. It stays dormant until the conditions for a smash hit are met.
Does Auto-Mace work during elytra combat?
Yes, that's one of its main uses—it automatically times your mace swings during elytra dives so you land maximum damage without worrying about the exact frame to click. The Wind Burst smash is also triggered automatically to let you bounce and strike again.
Do I need to configure settings or press buttons to use Auto-Mace?
No, the mod runs completely automatically in the background with no menus or setup required. Just install it, hold a mace, and it handles the timing for you.
Will Auto-Mace cause lag or performance issues?
The mod is lightweight and client-side only, so it should have minimal impact on performance. If you experience issues, try updating to the latest version or checking for conflicts with other mods.
Can I turn Auto-Mace off without uninstalling it?
Simply switch to a different weapon or put your mace away—the mod only activates when you're holding a mace, so it effectively disables itself when you're not using one.
Does Auto-Mace work against all types of enemies?
The mod triggers whenever you're falling toward any entity, whether it's a player, mob, or other target. As long as you're descending and in range, it will attempt to land the smash hit.
What if my mace swings aren't connecting even with Auto-Mace?
Check that you're falling from a high enough distance to trigger the smash mechanic, that your target is within reach, and that there are no blocks between you and your target. If the mod still isn't working, verify it's enabled and try rejoining your world.
