Troubleshoot Animals Not Breeding or Replanting

Check Animal Conditions

Animals need to be well-fed to breed. Ensure they have access to food sources—grass for cows and sheep, crops or carrots for pigs. The mod handles feeding automatically, but animals must have food available in their environment.

Verify Pen Setup

1. Confirm animals are in a properly enclosed space

2. Check that the pen is lit (mobs won't spawn in lit areas, which keeps animals safe)

3. Ensure there's enough space for animals to move and interact

Confirm Farmland Preparation

Double-check that your farmland is double-tilled. Single-tilled blocks won't support crops, and animals can't replant on improperly prepared soil. Use your hoe twice on each block.

Proximity Matters

Animals can only replant crops they can physically reach. If your fields are too far from the pen, animals won't interact with them. Move your pen closer or expand it toward your crops.

Give It Time

Automatic processes take time. Breeding and replanting don't happen instantly. Check back periodically—you should see results within a few in-game days.
